Dog Friendly Cafes and Restaurants in Canggu and Seminyak

There are a lot of dog friendly cafes and restaurants in Bali. Too many to list them all. Most places will accept your dogs if you sit on the outside terrace, but that can be torture on a hot and humid day for your furry companion and yourself.

So, this compiled list is of the places in Canggu and Seminyak who have never batted an eyelid when they’ve seen our dog, Bailey (@bailey_blooms), in tow. Given no stipulations or shown us to designated areas and never asked us can the dog be left outside while we eat inside. This list is only for those who have made Bailey as welcome as we were and only ever asked if our dog needed some water.

Here’s a list of utterly and totally dog friendly cafes and restaurants in Canggu and Seminyak.

Kynd – Café / Seminyak

Possibly the most Instagrammable café in Seminyak, Kynd Community is also kind to any visiting dogs. We were warmly welcomed by the staff when we turned up with our dog, and Bailey, looking pretty in his Paws.co tropical bandanna, got his picture in front of the insta-famous pink and palm leaf wall.

BGS – Café / Canggu

One of the best cafes in Canggu for coffee, BGS are also a big fan of dogs. They have a dog bowl full of water outside their café for any thirsty dog that happens to come by. BGS don’t have any air conditioning or inside seating to really speak of so whether you sit inside or out doesn’t matter.

Milu by Nook – Restaurant / Canggu

This establishment ticks a lot of the boxes when considering where to eat in Canggu, and a big plus is they are a dog friendly restaurant. Whether you sit inside or outside by their rice terrace, your canine friend is made to feel extremely welcome upon arrival.

Coffee Cartel – Café / Seminyak

Coffee Cartel is a very dog friendly café in Seminyak. How welcoming are they? How about they offer any visiting dogs water in their very own pink Instagrammable dog bowl which matches their pink latte theme.

Dua Tiga – Café / Canggu

This dog friendly café in Canggu has a designated outside ‘pet area’ with a garden, but Dua Tiga don’t restrict their visitors’ pets there. Dogs and their owners have the freedom of the café and can sit inside or outside.

Copenhagen – Café / Canggu

Copenhagen is such a dog friendly cafe that it’d be a surprise if you went and there wasn’t at least one lying somewhere around the Canggu cafe.

Nude – Café / Canggu

On a really hot day, a café in Bali that offers air conditioning is highly sought after. And one that permits dogs is even harder to find. Nude, however, welcome you and your dog into their air-conditioned room as you seek refuge from the heat.

Ons Warung – Café / Canggu

An open aired café that’s incredible value for food that also lets your dog sit right next to you on the seat at the table without a word of protest. Extremely welcoming to your four-legged companion.

Mocha – Café / Canggu

We hate when a café makes a ‘mocha do about nothing’ when they try and turn a member of our pack away, so we love that the dog friendly Mocha makes Bailey feel very welcome whenever we arrive at their open aired café.

Missibu – Café / Canggu

This café is extremely welcoming of our furry friends. Missibu are so welcoming that they recently hosted a dog themed Valentine’s Pawty where over two dozen dogs were in attendance at the indoor airconditioned café at Canggu’s Tamora Gallery.

*Our dog, Bailey, is a small dog (approx. 8kg) so the places listed may or may not accept bigger dogs. It is always worth asking prior to visiting to avoid disappointment, but all we can say is that all of the establishments we have mentioned have always been exceptionally dog friendly to us.
